About the job

The Business Development Manager will work closely with team members to assist in the expansion of
Andiamo’s sales operations, and revenue-generating processes and execution across the entire US and
Canadian markets. You will report directly to the Vice President of Sales and will work to
establish new relationships and drive profitable business. With extremely broad territories, you will have
creative liberty in engaging new clients and leveraging one of the strongest tech recruiting teams in NA.
This is an emerging team at Andiamo where there will be a lot to learn and a huge impact to be had on
our company’s long-term growth.

What you’ll do

  • Research, prospect, and hunt leads and viable income streams to build a strong and consistent
    business development pipeline (Apollo, HubSpot, LinkedIn).
  • Seek out and identify profitable business opportunities that align to Andiamo’s service offerings
    and recruitment expertise.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of Andiamo’s offerings and industry needs to identify new business
    opportunities.
  • Help to create new growth strategies and improve existing ones.
  • Negotiate and execute new business deals.
  • Collaborate closely with other business development, marketing, operations,
    and recruiting colleagues to connect with our target audiences cohesively and effectively.
  • Develop and execute quarterly and bi-weekly plans with specific, measurable goals.
  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential clients.
  • Manage and grow business partnerships where appropriate.

What we’re looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree and 1-4 years of experience in the staffing or consulting services industry,
    preferably in tech.
  • A proven track record of managing a sales pipeline and developing partnerships to accelerate
    growth.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to a wide
    audience at differing levels of technical sophistication.
  • Strong negotiation skills with proven capacity to close agreements.
  • Ability to work autonomously, be proactive, and function in a small team environment.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem resolution, and follow-through skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize immediate, short-term goals and
    simultaneously focus on strategic, long-term goals.
  • Exhibit high degree of initiative and critical-thinking skills utilizing results and data in exercising
    independent judgment.
  • An entrepreneurial mind-set and positive approach, while being a valuable team contributor.
  • Strong user skills in MS Office and Google platforms, knowledge of CRM tools like HubSpot and
    Apollo.
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success.
