About Dylan Lomangino
“Whattaya hear? Whattaya say?” – Paulie Walnuts, The Sopranos
I’m a professional violist and former orchestra conductor and music educator who traded the podium for the tech talent world. At Andiamo, I help connect top technology and go-to-market talent with the companies building what’s next.
Academic Background:
B.A. in Music, University of Connecticut
M.S. in Music Education (K-12), University of Bridgeport
My interests:
Music has always been my through line. I’m a professional violist and co-founded the Westfarms Quartet with a colleague in 2020. I spent a decade conducting a community orchestra and taught privately for years. One early highlight: singing in the UConn chamber choir and performing at Carnegie Hall in 2014.
Hobbies outside of work:
I ran cross country & track through high school and college, took about a decade off, then got hooked again thanks to Peloton. Two half marathons in the past year, currently chasing a 1:30 finish before I commit to a full marathon. When I’m not running, I’m cooking up Italian dishes and doing my best to make them gluten friendly.
Some of my favorite things:
Life at home with my spouse Steph, our two cats Mimi and Lilo, and our puppy Cannoli. A good Italian recipe. The quiet of a trail run deep in the woods, no route in mind, just me and whatever’s next in my playlist.
